WILDCAT PARK
Wildcat Park is located in the
heart of the Allegheny National Forest along scenic Route 6 in McKean County, Ludlow, PA. This historic community park was established in 1925 and created through the generosity and efforts of G.
W. Olmsted and other prominent members of the Ludlow community. The scenic, wooded setting of the park offers quiet solitude, a trout stream,
hemlock groves, walking trails, large open space and a multitude of flora and fauna. Outdoor recreational facilities include a baseball diamond and 1928 stadium; playground; and tennis,
volleyball, and horseshoe courts.
The park is a popular place
for family reunions and group picnics throughout the summer. Rustic picnic facilities available include three outdoor covered pavilions with running water and electric and an enclosed
heated pavilion with kitchen, fireplace and modern restrooms. In addition, there are numerous picnic tables and grills throughout. Pavilions are available for rent from May 1
through October 31 or as weather permits. Reservations for pavilions can be made by calling (814) 945-6373 or (814) 945-5548.
